The Tukwila Levee Repair project is part of the National Levee Database. This project was a collaboration with the USACE Seattle and Walla Walla districts, with local input from both the City of Tukwila Public Works, the King County Emergency Levee Management Team and the Muckleshoot Tribe. Between Stations 27+00 and 31+00, roughly 6750 linear feet, experienced slope failure and scouring during three separate high-water events in 2015 and 2020. AWX placed over 1,513 Tons of Class A rip rap and 5,235 Tons of Class B for this levee repair.
