The Interim Power Plant (IPP) PowerLynx Replacement Project consists of replacing the existing IPP PowerLynx control system with a new control system that is fully compatible and integrated with the Power Plant PCMS system. For this project, Awalix LLC (AWX) provided inspection services and site safety under the role of the site safety health officer (SSHO) and construction quality management (CQM). AWX was responsible for conducting all safety meeting, uploading daily reports to RMS, preparatory meetings, site inspections in conjunction with TDXGS, and preparing “blue sheets” as required by for work on the MDC. No pictures were allowed on the high security facility. Work was completed on specific outages as directed by the Government.
